Sunrise At Canton Lake

A visit to our friends’ cottage in Northern Pennsylvania is always a treat.  Perfect company and a perfect environment to relax, absolutely.

I always come away with at least one magnificent image.  This time I had set up on the lakeside, waiting in the chill morning air for the sun to just peek over the tree line.  The water was largely still, with just a little ruffling on the far bank, so there would be a perfect reflection of the beautiful cloud formation which was adding that fiery element to the sky, braking the suns ray from beneath.

I always look forward to my next visit and wonder what images I will bring away with me.
